I just want to give you the reader, the straight facts about Herbalife so you can make up your own mind with regards to the Herbalife Scam. I should mention that I am not associated with this mlm in any type of business capacity and receive no benefits from trying to hype this company.
Have You Ever Heard of the Herbalife Scam?
I bet your reading this post because someone you know approached you to join their Herbalife opportunity….right? If I’m correct, most likely your wondering if the phrase “Herbalife Scam” has any truth to it. Before jumping into ANY mlm opportunity, it is wise to do your research! I’m not here to try and steer you in one direction or another, but rather to provide some oversight and reveal the facts surrounding this company.
Lets review some of the facts:
The company was formed in 1980, by Mark Hughes who by all accounts started selling supplements right out of his car’s trunk! Following his hard work, Herbalife enjoyed phenomenal success and has grown to employ over 4,000 people globally and is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. The company enjoyed net sales of $2.7 billion in 2010 and the products are distributed through approximately 2.1 million independent distributors in 75 countries. I don’t know about you, but I’m not thinking Herbalife Scam with these aforementioned facts.
“So then….what is the Herbalife Scam all about?”
If you are looking to find the reason why so many people look at companies like Herbalife and think SCAM is this, it’s simply the methods and strategies that these MLM companies teach their new distributors. So many MLM companies preach a great game when it comes to promoting their marketing plans, but they rarely deliver on those promises. This is why we hear the term Herbalife Scam so often! Network Marketing/MLM has changed drastically over the years, what worked so well for a distributor in the 80′s doesn’t seem to work at all for a modern day mlm Distributor.
The old marketing approach was to create a list of your friends and family called your “warm” market and then get a hold of each of them and schedule a presentation at their home, usually with a seasoned mlm Distributor. This presenter would then extol the virtues of Herbalife and try to get your friends/family to sign up on the spot. This used to work very well in the olden days, not so much anymore! Most of the time your “warm” market will avoid you like the plague, once word is out that you are hawking a MLM company opportunity.
Some of the other marketing strategies your sponsor may tell you to do, would be things like setting up booths in the local shopping mall, handing out flyers and even wearing a BIG company button. Embarrassing! How many people do you think you could cultivate using these strategies? I’m willing to bet not a whole lot! These old and tired strategies may work over the long haul, but you will probably go BROKE long before achieving any type of success!
So many people have been preconditioned to recoil at the mere term “MLM.” They will already have preconceived notions about the Herbalife Scam once you start telling them about your wonderful home based business opportunity. This is an uphill battle right out of the gates! There are MUCH easier and productive ways to grow your business as I’ll outline below.
We are in the 21st century and boy have Network Marketing/MLM building strategies changed! The old and tired ways that led to the phrase “Herbalife Scam” are long gone. With the advent of the internet we have a Global marketing powerhouse available in our homes. Why go tirelessly chasing after anyone you know when you can jump online and expose your opportunity to literally Millions of prospects? People who are actually looking for what you have to offer and not already thinking, “oh just another Herbalife Scam.”
“The key to becoming successful in Herbalife requires a constant flow of highly qualified/targeted leads, once you achieve this aspect of your business, you will be amazed at how fast your empire will grow!”
In summary, the phrase Herbalife Scam isn’t coming from the company itself, but rather from the old marketing/lead generation techniques that are still taught. If your wondering….how do I get on the 21st century lead generation bandwagon and start generating up to 50 FREE Herbalife leads per day, TAKE ACTION NOW & Click Here!
