Internet Marketing 102-List Building
Share Me Here

List-building is an integral part of your internet marketing efforts. Think of a list as people who are interested in what you have to say or offer. We all realize with the law of large numbers that some of these people on your list will become long time productive customers or team members. List building is something that you should be doing on a daily basis as part of your critical daily activity list.
The key to getting people on your list is to have them “opt-in.” This means getting their basic information like a name and e-mail address. There are various ways to accomplish this task but one of the most popular ways is to “capture” the information using a internet “squeeze” or “capture” page. A Squeeze or capture page example is shown below:

Other popular Ways of building a list include:
- Advertising on Google or other PPC sites (although I wouldn’t recommend this option unless you are a keyword expert and have a nice advertising budget).
- Advertising on a cheap organic leads creator system like Lead Gusher or Prospect Geyser.
- Shoot a You Tube video with a link URL to an affiliate program opt-in page.
- Make sure you have a FREE offer opt-in (like an E-Book) on your website or blog.
As you can see there are a variety of ways to generate traffic and convert these people into leads on your list. One thing to keep in mind, the internet is loaded with like minded people all striving for the same outcome! You have a TON of competition! The key is daily activity like I wrote about in another post. Be consistent with your daily activities and you will see results over the long run. Offer your list something that has value and is free, and I guarantee they will come back to you with love!
