Kyani “The Miracle of Alaska.”  Has someone approached you about this magnificent MLM opportunity?  I bet your pondering whether to jump in and build the business of your dreams right?  I am in no way related or connected to this company and just wanted to write an unbiased review to help you decide if this company is right for you or if it’s just another MLM scam.

The History of Kyani

The actual company is embedded in the Health and Wellness MLM niche. As most of us already know, this industry is the largest by far in the Network Marketing/MLM niche.  It’s important to note that you as a distributor will be facing some pretty stiff competition from the 100′s of other health & wellness companies out there.  On the other hand, it’s comforting to know that with our population aging and the “baby boomer” generation graying, this industry is well positioned to profit for many years to come!

Kyani was founded in 2005 and is located in Idaho. The company was started by 3 highly successful families, namely the Powells, Hansens and the Taylors. The story is that the founding families started the company using their own cash which was approx $300 million!  With this financial clout, the company has been able to grow very quickly.  The  CEO Michael Breshears, has a stellar business building record and is active in the Direct Selling Association (DSA).  This leadership team is dedicated to exponentially grow the company and doesn’t look like a Kyani Scam to this guy.

The Kyani Product Line

Kyani offers three core health and wellness products.  They include:

1. Kyani Sunrise – A very nutritional drink made from genuine Alaskan blueberries.
2. Kyani Sunset – An potent omega-3 supplement made from Wild Alaskan sock-eyed salmon.
3. Nitro FX – A noni-based, nitric oxide supplement made to defend and repair every cell of the body, aid in blood flow and increase overall energy.

Of course, with so many H&W offerings, it’s hard to know which one’s are the best.  I’ve seen one supplement or juice product work wonders for one person and do nothing for another.  It’s always good to do your own due diligence and research the actual products before making any type of judgement calls.

The Kyani Compensation Plan

I’m not that impressed with MLM start up fees and all the high auto ship monthly costs.  Kyani has three different plans that range from $160 to $1,250.  These seem pretty steep but then again it is in-line w/many other H&W companies.  The monthly auto ship fee is a whopping $150.  Like most other mlm companies, they expect you as a rep to aggressively recruit and build your downline.  This is where so many people fail and simply give up!  If you are aggressive and build a substantial downline, you will be rewarded with lots of residual income, bonuses and fancy car allowances.

You as a distributor will be expected to chase after your friends and family, hold meetings in your own home or another location and “pound” the streets looking for potential recruits.  The company does offer support in the way of conference calls and conventions several times each year but not a ton of localized support.

Is The Kyani Scam True?

From all appearances, this company is NOT a scam!  It’s a wonderful opportunity for the right person who believes in their natural products and wants to grow their own home based business.  Like I mentioned earlier, simply paying your fee and joining this opportunity will not guarantee success.  You will need to build your presence in the marketplace and reach a ton of potential recruits.  This means a daily supply of highly qualified leads!
