Melaleuca Scam

First of all, the term scam is used to describe many MLM companies I feel unfairly.  I am NOT associated in anyway with Melaleuca, but I know a number of people who are.  If your reading this post, there is a very good chance that you were approached by someone you know, perhaps a family member, friend or business associate who wants you to join Melaleuca.  Now you are looking for further information, to solidify your decision and answer any questions concerning a Melaleuca Scam.

Lets take a detailed look into the Melaleuca opportunity to see if the Melaleuca Scam exists.

Lets look at some facts about Melaleuca:

  • Melaleuca develops, manufactures and sells over 350 of the world’s leading wellness products for home and family use.
  • Melaleuca’s EcoSense cleaning products are safer for your home. They use naturally derived ingredients with no chlorine bleach, ammonia, or formaldehyde.
  • Melaleuca’s Focus Has Always Been on Environmental Wellness:
“At Melaleuca, we were green long before being green was popular. For 25 years, we’ve been leading the way in selling concentrated products and preserving nature’s resources.”
  • Melaleuca Security – provides the best burglar alarms and monitored security systems across the United States and Canada.
  • Melaleuca Freedom Celebration – Honoring and Celebrating all Service Members and Veterans making heroic sacrifices for our country.
  • The Melaleuca Foundation – Enhancing Lives Restoring Hope serving the Santa Lucia Children’s Home.
  • Independent Business Owners network with average annual earnings from $85 to over $1,000,000.

Do the above facts make you think Melaleuca Scam?

I always wonder why so many people look at a company like Melaleuca and think Melaleuca Scam?  I’ve never heard of such a large scale scam that was allowed to last over 25 years, have you?  I’m sure you’ve heard about the scams and bad publicity that makes it way around the Network Marketing/MLM industry and are wondering, is this another Melaleuca Scam?

Take it from me, it is only proper to do a lot of research on any business opportunity before jumping in head first.  The biggest problem with any MLM opportunity is that people go after their “warm” market like family and friends with out asking the primary question, “are you at a point in your life where it makes sense to start your own home based business?”  Most MLM companies including Melaleuca teach their new distributors to get the word out to all the people they know (their “warm” market) and just assume a number of them will automatically jump on the opportunity, thus the term Melaleuca Scam.

Let me tell you about my personal experience with Melaleuca….

I have been personally involved with several MLM opportunities and I use Melaleuca products like so many other people do.  I love that these products are natural and can be consumed without health ramifications.  I have no distributor affiliation with Melaleuca and do not intend to.  I started in Network Marketing over 25 years ago.  Like any newbie, I was excited, charged up and ready to conquer the World!  Did any of my dreams come to fruition?  Not a oneI  I invested lots of time, went to all the ra-ra meetings and spent a fair amount of money on product and eventually quit like so many others.

Does this mean I look at Melaleuca and automatically think Melaleuca Scam?  No Way! Do I feel I was duped by the Melaleuca Scam?  No way!  My early involvement in Network Marketing/MLM was a great learning experience for me and taught me some of the basic building blocks for my future business ventures.  The harsh reality which gives way to the term “Melaleuca Scam,” is that 97% of all MLM distributors fail to achieve any type of success that they desire so badly.

So is the term “Melaleuca Scam” legitimate?  The fact is that on average, three times as many people will talk about a bad experience than a good one. That being said, is it any surprise that there are more than a few disgruntled distributors who tell people about the Melaleuca Scam?  Like I mentioned earlier, the main problem is how most MLM companies approach building their distributors business, chasing and harassing their family and friends, purchasing and calling worthless leads, setting up booths in the mall etc.

These outdated strategies that used to work so well have gotten a bit rusty and outdated….thus the 97% failure rate and the term “Melaleuca Scam!”  What you may ask is the answer today?  Simply put, “The Internet!”  The Explosion of the Internet has paved the Way for Revolutionary New Online Marketing Lead Generation Strategies. These NEW Prospecting Strategies are So Powerful that you will never cold prospect or run out of leads ever again.

If you are struggling to build your Melaleuca business and becoming increasingly frustrated, you can learn all about the lead generation system I use that has consistently generated up to 50 highly targeted MLM leads each day!  Unfortunately most people who join top MLM companies will not enjoy the success they seek without the proper tools.  To learn how to generate leads, sponsor reps, and explode your Melaleuca business, click here to get this invaluable free training.
