On the topic of MLM Business, I’ll try to be as frank and to the point as I can with this post. Most of the time, when people look for an MLM to promote, usually it is for extra income, the appeal of working from home, or simply telling their jerk of a boss to “take this job and shove it!” The problem is this, most people have no idea what they are getting into.

Most MLM Business opportunities continually over promote the opportunity and vastly under-deliver! This is evident in the 97% overall failure rate of MLM Business owners. I have personally been involved with Network Marketing and MLM for the past 30 years and have some advice I’d love to share with my readers.

MLM Business or Scam?

I’ve seen the term “scam” become synonymous with Multi-level companies. I think part of that is deserved as 97% of the MLM Business owners are set up to ultimately fail. Most of you have experienced those Network Marketing “ra-ra” meetings where someone invites you to be part of a unbelievable business opportunity and the loud music and success stories that flow are very enticing.

The “scam” part comes when you sign up under your sponsor and then most often you get none of the help and marketing that was promised in all the hype and build up. Most new distributors are told to go after friends and family which only lasts so long and never results in a solid Business building strategy. Thus over 97% of new business owners quit within the first few months and get a very bad taste for anything Multi-level!

If you do any extensive research on the sheer number of companies out there, you will find literally thousands! You can do a lot of research on each company at this website, MLM Rankings.com. Here you can find which companies are popular, which are growing the fastest and other pertinent data. A word of caution, there are plenty of start up companies that ultimately fail within the first year of operation so you may want to review the companies financials and longevity status.
