The Kleeneze Scam…..Really?

Sorry, I had to use the term “Poppycock” as Prince Poppycock was my fave character on the 2010 Season of America’s got Talent.  Now, Onto more serious subjects like…is the Kleeneze Scam alive and well?  I’m willing to bet you are reading this post partly because you were approached by someone you know, who wanted you to join their Kleeneze business. It’s only natural to be a little curious and find out more about this company called Kleeneze.

I should point out that I am in no way of fashion associated with Kleeneze and gain nothing from hyping this company.  I am merely trying to give you the reader, a quick overview of what the company is about and reveal some facts so that you can make up your own mind.

Have you ever heard of the Kleeneze Scam?

Kleeneze is the oldest home shopping company and among the oldest MLM companies in the United Kingdom.  Kleeneze was started in 1923 by a gentleman named Harry Crook, who domiciled the company in England.  The company has enjoyed steady growth and has quite a market presence all over greater Europe.  Harry Cook’s goal was to provide his distributors with an efficient way to own their own home shopping business and achieve financial success.

Even today with the uncertain economy, Kleeneze has enjoyed steady growth and continues to offer its independent distributors with a viable, steady way to earn a comfortable income.  In light of these facts, are you still thinking “Kleeneze Scam?”  One other fact to note about Kleeneze, is that they are one of the co-founders of the Direct Selling Association or DSA. The DSA monitors all of its members to ensure they abide by a strict Code of Ethics.

Its relatively easy to get your Kleeneze biz started.  All you have to come up with is approximately $130 for the basic starter kit.  This kit includes basics like the catalogs of the products as well as a few of the core products that you can use or re-sell.

If the Kleeneze Scam doesn’t exist in the company, how about its products?

Kleeneze offers a wide variety of products.  They include gift items, home care and laundry products, kitchen, bed and bath products, as well health and beauty products.  Their products are catalog based and updated on a regular basis.  Kleeneze also ships the products to your home for FREE!  Just pick the products you want, place your order and Viola!  So far I’m not thinking Kleeneze Scam, are you?

If the Kleeneze Scam doesn’t exist in the products, how about its  Compensation Plan?

Like many MLM companies, Kleeneze offers entrepreneurial minded people the opportunity to earn a very decent living owning their own home based business.  The comp plan is pretty easy to understand – you are paid a 21% commission on all retail sales.  As with most MLM companies, Kleeneze allows you to earn income off of all the people you sponsor and bring into the business and the chance to earn off of all the purchases they will make.

This is where a lot of people get a bad taste for MLM type companies.  In order for one to really earn and move up the compensation ladder, the Kleeneze distributor has to be aggressive and recruit many different people into their business.  MLM companies have traditionally used the old and tired marketing methods that encourage distributors to “chase” after their “warm” market, friends and family.  This tends to alienate a lot of people who do not want to be “hounded” by someone they know, like and trust!

Thinking Kleeneze Scam?  I’m not!

The Kleeneze opportunity is a very legitimate one for the right person.  The problem lies in the way MLM companies teach their distributors to market and promote the products and services.  There are much better ways for you as a Kleeneze distributor to build your business and it doesn’t involve chasing tirelessly after your “warm” market!  If you are stuck in a rut and not producing highly targeted leads for your Kleeneze business, please read the info below….
