Also referred to as network marketing and referral marketing, MLM (Multi-level marketing) is a marketing technique wherein the sales force is compensated not only for the successful sales they make, but also for the sales made by those they refer into the company. Now, what is it and what does it do? It creates a down line of sales people as well as a hierarchy of various levels of sales compensation.
